Morro Bay State Park - Morro Bay

Got an early start today and then stopped for coffee at Paso Robles Inn.  Very warm there and expected to hit a high of 93 today. 

We were happy to reach the fog and cloud of the coast at Morro Bay. Lots of tourists in town and we didn't hang around the touristy area.   We went to our usual spot,  Harbor Hut for lunch and special cocktails! 

We thought we might need to get a hotel either here or Arroyo Grande but decided to check the State Park on the off chance there might be space.  The Campground Full sign was out but we asked anyway and were told there were only 3 ADA sites available.  Fine.  Gave them my ADA placard and we have a site for the night. 

Across the street from the campground is a marina and restaurant and there is the Marina Peninsula trail which we walked.
