Pillar Point RV Park - El Granada

6.75 hours
168.2 miles

So this morning we picked a campground 84 miles away, about the distance we thought was good.   As we had twice before,  we stopped in Cloverdale for a walk downtown.   A peaceful town with some lovely buildings.

When we got to the campground it wasn't acceptable so we moved on.  Norm wanted to go to Sausalito to see a boat for sale.

While Norm was salivating I went to the park across the parking lot and got a bit of a view of Alcatraz in the fog and in the distance.

This is the harbor the yacht broker was in.

We still couldn't find anything so decided to go back to the 101 and head south.   Interesting major hills in San Francisco (hair-raising) and finally got to the highway and across the Golden Gate Bridge which had major fog rolling in

Set the GPS for this campground and figured we were close to Half Moon Bay if we needed to look further.

This is great!   We'll probably stay another night.

And a lovely dinner at Sam's Chowder House,  about 200 yards away.
