Most of the morning was spent driving the Avenue of the Giants. 

We stopped outside of Garberville at the One Log House/Grandfather Tree.  

Watched this carver for a while. 

It was 73 degrees when we were here.   Within the hour it was 90 degrees.  Not our weather at all so glad we were close to the campsite.  Nice breeze in the shade so we were very decadent... drinks and snacks while watching tv outside.

Busy place today and an interesting campground geared for families. 

We may stay here tomorrow to give the Memorial Day traffic a miss.
