Seemed like alot of driving today.   Stopped in Santa Cruz to see the boardwalk.  We've never stopped in the city so decided it was time to see some of it.   The boardwalk was humming as one of the high schools was let loose there for the day.  The kids were having a hoot!

Then we decided to stop and see Salinas as that's another place we've never stopped at.  We went to the historic downtown which was beautiful.

This resort is lovely but very windy!  It's 82 degrees and the winds are blowing at 23 mph.  We're rocking and rolling!  Wonder if it will die down overnight?
